Platters (yardage)
1
Description
Bold, yet elegant in color and form, Betty Woodman's “Platters” features abstract pastel patterns within bun-like shapes, against an opaque black background. This 5-color screenprinted yardage, first produced as part of the artist's residency in 1980, relates to Woodman's exploration of vessel forms and her intentional blurring of art, craft, beauty and function.
Betty Woodman, in collaboration with The Fabric Workshop and Museum, Philadelphia.
