About The Exhibition

A contemporary art installation by the artist Rose B. Simpson features a canopy of earth-toned baskets made by the artist. Each has a cross-like symbol, which she calls stars.

Rose B. Simpson: Dream House

In this immersive multi-room installation, New Mexico-based artist Rose B. Simpson leads us around the contours of intimacy and memory with windows into her own domestic narrative, kinship, and subconscious. Inspired by Pueblo architecture, her ancestral landscape, and magical realism, Simpson explores the imprints and through-lines that connect and orient her life as an artist, an Indigenous person, and a mother.
