Description

Jiha Moon paints her detailed ink-acrylic works on hanji, a traditional handmade paper from Korea. In these delicate, surreal landscapes, Moon bridges the realm of history in Eastern and Western art. Her experiences connected to these cultures translate into elements of geography, wildlife, flora and fauna featured in her works, also weaving in references to folklore narratives. The Botan Garden scarf is a springy, bright and delicate embodiment of Moon’s artistry.
