Meet the Artist

Ahmed Alsoudani
Ahmed Alsoudani is an Iraqi born artist whose large abstract paintings depict grotesque, chaotic mash-ups of bodies and limbs contorted by ambiguous shapes, machine parts, and suggestions of environment. Growing up in and subsequently fleeing a war-torn country, Alsoudani’s work can be seen as a visually captivating, albeit disturbing, homage to man’s capacity for violence and terror.
