Mark Fox is a multimedia artist based out of New York City, known for his paintings, drawings, and sculptures. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio Fox recalls tornadoes from his childhood which he often refers back to in his work as stray marks and spills come together forming intricate webs and masses. During his residency in 2007, Fox’s solo show “Dust” incorporated attributes of displaced objects, thin paper, as well as 2D and 3D depth that also appear in his silk-printed scarf.
