Mineo Mizuno is an internationally acclaimed Japanese artist who primarily works with ceramics. During his residency at FWM, Mizuno was able to experiment with printing on fabric, and its relationship to ceramics, while drawing inspiration from natural resources and processes. These understated, white cotton napkins are elegantly sprinkled with red peppers, each with a different composition. Originally created in 1979, they were conceived in tandem with ceramic dinnerware decorated with the same design.
