Description

Celestial Banquet catalogues the 1996 exhibition featuring the work of Robert Kushner. A pioneer at the forefront of the Pattern & Decoration movement of the 1970s, Kushner was selected as the first Artist-in-Residence at the Workshop in 1977.

This full-color catalogue features work from Kushner's previous residencies along with three pieces constructed in the early 1980s, an interview with the artist by guest curator Janet Kardon, as well as a foreword by FWM's founder, Marion Boulton Stroud.
