Meet the Artist
Kristina Price
Articles of Tact is a Philadelphia-based creative project by Kristina Price, a multidisciplinary artist who grew up in WV and loves craft. As a maker, she often practices printmaking, photography, drawing, and ceramics in addition to tufting. Articles of Tact softly launched in 2019 and has been evolving ever since.
Her inspiration comes from everyday patterns and shapes. Plants in particular are especially compelling; they are usually always changing, whether it’s in a state of growth or decay. For Kristina, the fun is all in looking at things, living or object, as they are in their original material and form, and noticing what they hold that gives us their context.
