Meet the Artist

Olivia Dwyer
Olivia Dwyer is a local Philly artist, originally from Newcastle, Maine. Working primarily in wearable art and soft sculpture, she focuses on themes of vulnerability and the ways we hold ourselves and one another. Her wearable pieces embody these themes through sheer fabrics, representative of exposing oneself unabashedly to the ups and downs of life—and silhouettes which gently play with volume, representative of taking up space even in moments when it feels uncomfortable to do so.
The organza collar has touches of both intentions and allows the wearer to carry these concepts with them through life, as a reminder of the innate strength in their softness.
