In this project, Donald Lipski uses of the American flag as an object to make a prolific series of sculptures questioning the "protection" of the American flag as a symbol.

Published on the occasion of Donald Lipski: Who's Afraid of Red, White & Blue?, 1990, this catalogue features works within the exhibitions that ran concurrently at four institutions: The Fabric Workshop, Philadelphia; the University of the Arts, Philadelphia; Beaver College, Glenside, Pennsylvania; and the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, D.C.
