Diane Itter was an American textile artist known for her brightly colored and knotted thread pieces. Her work was featured in the 2013 exhibition, A Riot of Color: The Fabric Workshop and Museum in collaboration with Ruth Fine. This exhibition displayed FWM’s roots in fiber arts, and showcased a huge range of printed textiles. While an Artist-in-Residence, Itter designed yardage decorated in ginkgo leaves, experimenting with many colorways and functional designs.
