Reverend Howard Finster was an artist and a baptist priest from Georgia, known for his unique graphic style that is often categorized as folk art, or outsider art. His life was dedicated to spreading the gospel through his paintings. This kaleidoscope-style napkin design was made in appreciation of the workshop and studio staff Finster collaborated with during his artist residency in 1984, hence the name Workshop Stars. Each set of four napkins comes with two in a purple colorway, and two in a white colorway.
