Our newest exhibition catalogue for Jonathan Lyndon Chase: Big Wash. The catalogue includes a foreword from FWM Executive Director Christina Vassallo, as well as an interview between Jonathan Lyndon Chase and Curator Karen Patterson.
The 100-page catalogue also features photographs, sketches, poetry, and short fiction exploring kinship, nostalgia and intimacy—themes of the exhibition and Chase’s larger artistic practice—by contributing writers Yolanda Wisher, Tiona Nekkia McClodden, Meg Onli and Meg Pendoley, noor ibn najam, and jamal rashad.
Jonathan Lyndon Chase: Big Wash is on view at FWM through June 20, 2021. For a limited time, FWM supporters also have an opportunity to acquire a limited-edition artwork by Chase. An edition of 65 boxer shorts—based on the artist’s Bending $ag design originally featured in Big Wash—have been printed in a new colorway for FWM’s Spring 2021 Virtual Benefit, running from May 25 through June 30, 2021.
