These washable and reusable cotton sateen face masks are made from yardage exclusive to The Fabric Workshop and Museum, designed by former Artists-in-Residence and screen printed in our studios. This edition uses Mary Heilmann’s Serape (1995) yardage which takes a joyful approach to color and minimalist forms. Often seen in Latin American culture, serapes feature a combination of colored stripes traditionally used for shawls or blankets. Here, Heilmann’s Serape is repurposed for comfort and safety.
