New American Voices

$15.00

New American Voices, the Fabric Workshop and Museum’s exhibition in two parts (October 2–November 2, 2009 and February 4–Spring 2011) presents a veritable cross-section of contemporary art practice in the United States. The exhibition grew out of FWM’s Artist-in-Residence program, where some of the country’s most exciting and vital artists produce new works in collaboration with our talented studio staff. Its acclaimed roster was built upon the Artist Advisory Committee’s sage recommendations. One advisor, Mark Rosenthal, suggested the wonderful title New American Voices as a means of linking artists with practices as disparate as the cities and rural areas in which they live and work.
