Description

On the occasion of his 2000–01 exhibition at the FWM, artist William Wegman designed this oversized silk scarf featuring a black and white “forest” of dog legs. Digitally printed on silk twill, this attractive piece can be displayed as a framed print edition or worn as a scarf.

Meet the Artist

A portrait of the artist William Wegman in his studio with his two dogs. He is an older white man with light blonde hair and glasses. Seated at a 3/4 turn and gazing at the viewer, Wegman is holding the left paw of his Weimaraner, a large silver-brown sporting dog, who also gazes at the viewer while panting slightly.
